How to submit a takedown notice

To file a notice of alleged copyright infringement, please send a written communication to the Designated Agent above containing all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, with information reasonably sufficient to permit Praxxii Global to locate the material — including a URL where applicable.
  4. Your contact information: address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-notification

If material you posted has been removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with the Designated Agent. The counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Praxxii Global may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.

Repeat-infringer policy

Praxxii Global will, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, terminate access for users who are repeat infringers.

False notices

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages.
